The Obama Administration is using the fruits of its own failed policies, namely the rise of extremist forces in Syria and the entrenchment of Assad, to justify continued adherence to these same policies – an attitude which represents the pinnacle of hypocrisy and cynicism.

Let’s not mince words here, this kind of sadistic behavior comes as another indication that what’s happening in Syria is not a civil war but a genocide, a genocide that has inspired desperate resistance and has been exploited by different regional actors, and Al-Qaeda, to further their particular agendas. But it is GENOCIDE. This is what Obama is ignoring. In the age of “Never Again” and R2P and Genocide Prevention Bureaus, a genocide is unfolding and no one gives a damn. Global Order has lost its relevance, so prepare to live in a jungle.

You will find a big structure at the outskirt of the city, this is the governor’s palace, but it has been occupied by Al-Qaeda for months now, and this is common knowledge, but Assad’s air force has so far targeted hospitals, schools, and civilian neighborhood and never once did it target the palace. If AQ is Assad’s enemy why not target its positions? They are pretty known. But Assad needs AQ to fight moderate rebels and score points with the international community”.
